Salads often get a bum wrap as a boring course in the foodie world, but we know that because the definition is so broad (rather than despite it), the possibilities are nearly limitless.
This is your chance to get creative – blend together elements you’ve never tried before or highlight ingredients you love. Break out retro recipes like Grandma’s terrifying (but fascinating!) cabbage jello “salad,” or try putting together a modern take on the mid-century wobbly staples. Love mayonnaise? Try a Waldorf salad. Light or heavy, vegetarian or meat-laden – bring in your creation to share with the group!
